Greetings to all the beautiful campers,

Very Happy

Well after some long drives around the countryside, I have finally paid the deposit on the new venue for Camp with Wings 2008.
Lions Camp Duckadang at head of Brisbane Valley.

Dates are a bit different as it was heavily booked already!
So it's Monday to Monday, 21st-28th January 2008. This 28th is a public holiday for Australia Day I think so hope it doesn't mess up plane tickets etc!! Confused

Or inflate the cost of the bus? Let's just intend that everything will all be hunky dory and perfect with no hitches or glitches! Laughing

The camp looks good and has a hall about halfway in size between Warwick and Mt Glorious, sleeps a hundred, has a good kitchen and dining area and another dining/workshop space out under a rotunda. Half tennis court, volleyball, basketball, small swimming pool, tabletennis, telescope, minigolf, big flat space for soccer and frisbee etc And canoeing on the Bris River if it's rained by then and the levels are up a bit more than they are right now.
Please don't leave your registration to the last minute....

I was wondering if registration forms for the 2008 CWW have come out yet. I couldnt find them on the other site.

I don't usually register till the last minute (I'm not saying that that is a good thing but 6 months early!)

I looked on the Camp site and it seems that it's still the 2007 form there. Janine was trying to get up the 2008 one before she left for the US but I guess she didn't... mind you I didn't download it to check so I'm not sure if it's a new form and they just forgot to change the date or if they haven't actually done it yet... if you see what I mean

Hey guys, the registration is definitely for next camp, revised and updated. And I encourage you to at least register soon, so I'm not left hanging until the last week wondering if we're gonna have a camp!!
Leaving it until the last week, indeed, even after chrissy, is not cool, cos it means we people preparing the directory and other such items and working out how many we have to feed, have a much harder job and more frustration the later the registrations. I love you all, but please register earlier this time. (PS Grace Llewellyn of NBTScamp charges an extra $25 if you register late!!)
Am about to head off to the 3 sessions of NBTscamp this week. first session starts on Monday. Aremy and Alex are working at the third session with me which will be wonderful. Love to you all, and hope you're having fun and making this year the most wonderful yet, hugs from GaytriJanine Laughing
