Well, now I have to think of something to write.... Just got back from the most AMAZING weekend at Josie and Mary's party. It was so great to see everyone who came and to stay in Brissy. mmmmm, lovely warm Brisbane- its 13 degrees down in Canberra now. brrrrr! cold.
hmmmm, I'm getting a little bored of Pink Floyd. lets change it... Little Birdy, that's better. I had fun playing CDs at hanging frangipani this morning, except the CD player forgot the definition of 'random' and kept playing the songs over and over again... Do you think I've chattered on enough yet?

Playing the songs over and over is the CD player's definition of random Laughing it's a bit annoying sometimes

Its days like today that I dream of camp, days like today being cold even in the middle of the day, I dream of running barefoot all day and waring t shirts rather than six layers.... moaning aside, one thing that reminded me of CWW was the letter that I wrote to myself that I got the other day (thanks Janine) did everyone else get theirs? did they enjoy it as much as I did?
One nice thing about winter for me is that relief work at the library picked up when everyone started getting sick, i made a good addition to my savings too... until i got sick myself. Oh well.

My dog Bow ran away the other day. We were looking after another dog for a friend for the day but we were out and left them in the backyard. We got a call from Zac's owner at about six o'clock saying that both dogs had escaped but only Zac had made his way home: Bow was AWOL.
We rushed home, checking Bow's favorite haunts along the way... we called everyone we could, drove across town to check at the pound, and finally had to accept that she would either turn up in her own sweet time or... not. We'd called the local vets and no injured dogs had been treated... yet - there are a lot of busy roads around our place. We decided to leave the gates and the laundry door open and go to bed and... hope.
I went out to check the gate, someone had left it ajar, as it were, but i pushed it wider just in case. I turned around to go back inside and a shadow moved! it was bow! I grabbed her and screamed!!! poor thing, she must have regretted coming home for a while there... none of us gave her room to breathe for a good half hour.
Apart from a cut next to her eye and very sore paws from about ten hours running, shes the same Bow we've always known... awww.

I don't know why I'm writing this really... oh, I'm avoiding going to bed... can you tell?
