Are you Creating anything ARTISTIC at the moment?

Hey guess what, I am very proud of myslef. I finished my first quilt!! Well, with a little help from some friends...thanks Jose and some others. Alex and Aremy's wedding quilt is now done and delivered and I'm so excited that I finished such a big project. Will post a photo when I get home, but you saw 3/4 of it at camp anyway. So I'm in awe of quiltmakers who turn out dozens or even half a dozen!! Love to you all, Gayatri Janine still in Portland and off to eugene on thursday, then camp on Monday Laughing

I finished the winnie the pooh nine patch quilt i was making yesterday!! Very Happy

It looks so good!! But it will be the last quilt i make for a long long time. Cool

and congratulations to both! its been a year since i made a quilt...
I finished my floor length overcoat, and i made a dress/top for work out of scraps... I'm altering a tartan corset and a vintage silk wedding dress... I'll post a photo, i plan to dye it green...

because they take so long to make and i am now into scrap booking and cross stitch, so i am running out of time for everything Crying or Very sad

Since I finished TAFE I've had quite a lot of free time on my hands, so I got down my sewing and fabric box's to have a poke around, and found a bunch of things that are half done, so I've set out to finish a bunch of things such as hand bags, dresses and quilts. Smile

I'm very close to finishing the top of a ROUND quilt. I'm so proud of it, I think it's just the most beautiful thing!
